If the Big 3 auto makers go under, what will happen to NASCAR?
Will fans accept Honda, Toyota, and Nissan in place of Ford. Chevy, and Mopar?
I don’t think that it will really make that much of a difference because NASCAR hasn’t run a real Stock Car in a very long time. Once upon time it was true that you could race them on Sundays and sell them on Mondays .I mean if you had access to a good dealer with good factory connections you could actually buy a legal street version of a real race car . Today that doesn’t happen
If the average American is driving a foreign POS car then that’s his stock car and the one that he will want to see raced on Sundays. NASCAR will race them and their fan base and culture will change as result.
