Are you surprised that Jimmie Johnson became the number one driver in Nascar instead of Tony Stewart?
Don’t get me wrong. Tony Stewart is still an awesome driver. But I still find it a bit surprising that Johnson has ended up dominating the sport for the past few years. If someone would’ve asked me five years ago who the most dominating driver would be five years in the future, I would’ve said Stewart. No doubt. He has the most talent in racing, in my opinion. He just looked to be such a promising driver. He had it all but then he dropped off a bit. But I suppose there are a number of reasons why this happened.
Like you I am surprised and baffled by the turn of events.
No disrespect for Jimmie Johnson intended. But a few
years ago I would have bet the farm on Stewart.
